There have been changes in diagnosis and treatment processes with the advancement of technology. For
example, classical surgeries performed in the past can now be performed by laparoscopic or robotic surgery with millimetric incisions. Thus, less bleeding and complications are seen. Biotechnology in the health sector has led to the use of biomaterials. The use of biomaterials in health shows that; how good results emerge when many disciplines are used together. Young people who will plan a career for the future and researchers who will do research in this field must be aware of the use of biotechnology and biomaterials in health. It is recommended that natural science experts, electrical electronics, mechanical and computer engineering teams come together to conduct research in this field and to conduct many more easy diagnosis and treatment methods and new healthenhancing research in the field of health. In this article, which is compiled from the literature, it is aimed to emphasize the places and importance of biotechnology and biomaterials in health.
